ALBERT EARL- Super large light canary yellow with green yellow throat. Not much green visible in throat here. This is a flat dinner plate shaped flower. Really opens nice here, even with cold nights. Our biggest flower. Evergreen but hardy here so far. Photo

BAMA BOUND - Nicely ruffled re-curved dark red. Strong scapes with many buds. This one has a velvet look and feel. Photo

BARBARA MITCHELL - One of the most popular pink daylilies, and really one of the most popular daylilies of all time. Rich pink blooms are ribbed and encircled with big, wavy ruffles. A large chartreuse throat adds contrast.
Very slow to clump here. Re-bloomer
 - Large burnt red. Nice round shape with ruffled edges. Short scapes. Re-bloomer   Photo

BEAUTY TO BEHOLD - The wide lemon yellow petals are complemented by a vibrant chartreuse throat. This is a nocturnal daylily which means that the flowers will be open in the morning for you to enjoy.

BUTTERED POPCORN - Butter yellow. Like a beacon. Consistent re-bloomer. Early bloomer and blooms again here in September. Lots of buds with a really long blooming period. Photo

CAPRICIAN FIESTA - One of the brightest eyed cultivars available.  Honeyed buff-apricot with vivid russet eye. 30-50 buds with wide branching and dependable heavy re-bloom. Tall scapes hold flowers high above foliage.  Mini    Photo

CHICAGO APACHE - Large scarlet red flowers with ruffled edged petals. Small yellow throat.

CHICAGO MAID - Melon with red eye.

CHICAGO ROSY - Burnt rosy red, ruffled, heavy bloomer. Up to 40 buds per stem. Robust foliage. Great multiplier.

CONDILLA - Another very popular daylily. Vibrant bright double gold blooms shine across the garden and invite you over for a closer look. Often two blooms open at once giving the impression of a 8 inch flower. Sometimes will re-bloom  

CORELLI - Large round pink yellow with nice ruffles on petals. Lime green throat.

CRANBERRY BABY - Ruffled cranberry with deep eye and yellow throat. Deep veining in slightly ruffled petals. Opens well here. One of our reddest. Fast multiplier. Mini and a re-bloomer

CRIMSON ICON - Bright bold rose red. Our reddest mini. Yellow throat. Some ruffling. Lots of buds and a very good multiplier.

DANCING WITH PINK - Double pink blend with yellow tipped sepals. A real beauty and a consistent double here.  This rare beauty will grace your garden with delightful double pink flowers. Re-bloomer

DOMINIC - Dark velvet red with bright contrasting yellow throat. This plant carries its flowers high above foliage. Sun fast here. Slow multiplier but re-blooms in early fall.

DOUBLE FIRECRACKER - One of the few red doubles ever created. An early bloomer, its first blooms of the season are often larger than the listed  5". Very eye catching with its vibrant red color and its full, double bloom. Re-bloomer

DOUG MAYFIELD - Very ruffled rose pink blend with deep rose eye zone. Nice round shape. Mini

FAIRY TALE PINK - Pale peachy pink blooms with ruffled edges and a deep golden yellow throat. Winner of the prestigious Stout Medal and a favorite with daylily lovers.

FINAL TOUCH - Pink and lavender combination. Lots of buds for long bloom 

FLAMENCO QUEEN - Another one of Doris' favorites. Beautiful blue-red with wide full form and lots of darker red ruffling on petals. Light pink stripe on each petal and white border on sepals. Color fast here.

GLOUCESTER CALLING - Maroon with thin white edge on sepals. Bright yellow throat. Somewhat slow to multiply.  

HARRODS - Hard to describe this red beauty with salmon undertones. Good multiplier.

HIGHLAND LORD - Deep rich velvety red. Ivory gold wire-like edging on ruffled petals and petaloids. Very showy DOUBLE flowers. Re-blooms.

IDA RED BELK - Big dark red flower with large bright white midribs. Another red beauty.  

I'M DIFFERENT - Extra petal on this large yellow flower. A very early bloomer here. Flowers somewhat translucent after rain. Very fast multiplier.

ICE CARNIVAL - Near white with yellow/green throat. Nice large petals.

JAMBALAYA - Bright bronze, orange blend, gold eye zone. Flowers stand high above foliage. Beautiful EXTRA LARGE FLOWER. Lots of visitor comments on this one. Re-blooms. Doris wants me to plant this one all over our back yard. 

JANE AUSTIN Pink melon blend with a dark halo. Fast multiplier.

JANICE BROWN - Pink flower with striking rose pink eye. 29 buds with consistent re-bloom and opens well when cold. Mid season bloomer here. Splotch of rose at end of each sepal. Nice ruffling.

JEN MELON - Melon cream to dark yellow. Very firm substance and opens well here. Heavy bloomer and a star performer. Mid season here. (July) Lots of buds.

JOLYENE NICHOLE - Big lovely flowers are a rose blend with lots of ruffles. Surprise: this one is nocturnal. It's flowers open in the night and stay open all day.

LA MER  - Lavender with bright yellow eye. White mid ribs. First blooms much larger than three inches here, more like 4 1/2.  Mini

LEPRECHAUN'S LACE - Extremely creped and ruffled intense creamy peach orange pink blend. One of our favorites. Masses of blooms on established clumps with two months of bloom in our gardens. A early bloomer here. Good in pots too. Very fast multiplier with good re-bloom. This one is a mini.

LULU'S KNOBBY - Vivid clear pink orange blend with knobby edges on petals. Beautiful and very showy. This one gets lots of oohs and aahs. Good re-bloomer.

MAE GRAHAM - A gorgeous pink, with big blooms held on short scapes. Petals are a deeper pink than the sepals, with a prominent white midrib.

MAMBO MAID - Crepey textured ruffled bright orange, darker orange eye with nice light yellow stripe in petals. Flowers high above light green foliage. Mini 

MANCHU LANTERN - Large violet and red blend color with an oversize lime/yellow throat in a flower that opens in the wee hours of the night and stays open all day.

MARISKA - Beautiful pink blend with heavy orchid undertones and lemon-green throat. Big flowers and lots of them. Opens well in cool weather. Vigorous grower that clumps rapidly.

MINI-PEARL - Beautiful light orange/pink blend with pale yellow throat. Red pencil stripes radiating from center to tips of petals and light yellow midribs. mini

MOTHER SUPERIOR - Light red with white midribs. Orange throat.

MYBELLE - Pink self. Small dark red eye and deep yellow throat. A almost indescribable color. Seems to have a bit of violet mixed with pink.

MYNELLE'S STARFISH - Ivory/yellow variant. Some orange blush in petals. Very nice looking bright flower. Nocturnal

NAOMI RUTH - Choice bloomer with many pastel peach orange blend blooms. This flower appears to be on the orange side of the color range here. Fragrant. Mini

NEWBERRY WHITE DOVE - Diamond dusted white. Small plant here but big flower. Small yellow throat.

OUTWARD BOUND - Slightly re-curved large red flower. This flower is 6 1/4 inches.

PALACE PAGODA - Fragrant yellow with melon center in petals. Nice looking. Not 30 inches in our garden more like 20. Re-blooms.

PAWN OF PROPHECY - Dark grape lavender with small bright green throat. Very dark purple eye. Cream midribs in sepals. Literature says flowers are re-curved almost like a ball but opens well here with flatter shape. Very dark green foliage. Eight plus weeks of bloom. Mini

PENNY EARNED - Tiny rounded orange yellow blooms. Grass like foliage. One of the smallest daylilies. Try this one at lower elevations. Somewhat slow multiplier.

PLAY MONEY - Wide open chrome yellow with tiny tight ruffles around petal edges. Blooms all season here. Growing habit similar to Stella De Oro but more petite. Great for pots. Mini

PRAIRIE BLUE EYES - Lavender with bluish eye. Interesting lavender color on this one, not really blue. Popular daylily but a very slow multiplier here probably due to it's semi-evergreen habit.

PUDGIE - Light yellow with a slight greenish cast. Has re-bloomed in our gardens with ample water. (DOUBLE FLOWER) Good multiplier. Mini

PURPLE RAIN - Bright grape purple. Large black eye zone with yellow throat. Very fast multiplier  Mini  

QUEEN OF HEARTS - Red star shaped flower. Sepals same size as petals. Yellow/Green throat. Tall scapes on this one so put in the rear of your border.

QUIETNESS - Large round flat cream pink, overcast with green throat. VERY LARGE SEPALS. Many stems with lots of blooms. Outstanding large flower. Re-blooms.

RED FLAG - Gold with dark red on one half of each petal. Large flower. Nocturnal and is fragrant. This is a spider variant. 

RED MAGIC Small dark red star shaped flower. Re-curved petals . Blooms best when left to clump. This one had no flowers the first year but by the third year it had hundreds. 18 + buds per long scape.  Afternoon shade benefits this red flower. Evergreen here but seems to be very hardy. A very g good multiplier. Mini 

RED VELVET FUR - The name says it all.

RED VOLUNTEER - Beautiful dark maroon. Gorgeous velvet robust petals. If you like reds, then this is the one for you. No fading here. Re-bloomer  

RESPIGHI - Large showy black with purple eye. Picture not available till next year.

RED FLAG - Gold with dark red on one half of each petal. Large flower. Nocturnal and is fragrant. This is a spider variant.

ROBIN ELMORE  - Brilliant white mid ribs. This nicely formed flower really stands out in the garden.

RUFFLED APRICOT - Gigantic blooms are a rich apricot color. Many awards for this one and has won many Popularity Polls. 

SEDUCTOR - Large red flower with a high bud count. This pretty flower has a small yellow throat.

SEEDLING-1 - Large peach pink petals with lighter contrasting sepals. Good sized flower and clumps fast. 

SHAMAN - Canary yellow with green throat. Some light pink shading on petals. Beautiful firm flat flower that opens well here in heavy rain and cool nights. Nice ruffling on petals. Evergreen but seems hardy here so far. Award winner.

SILOAM JUNE BUG - Bright golden yellow with a dark red eye deep in throat. Some ruffling. A dependable June bloomer with re-bloom again in September here. Nice dark green foliage. Fast multiplier. Mini

SILOAM NUGGET - Bright golden blooms have a unique tulip like shape, being almost perfectly round with no gaps between petals and sepals. Blooms are ruffled around the edges. Very good for massed plantings.  

SILOAM PINK GLOW - Pink petals with dark red eye zone. Bright yellow throat. Gold dust on petals sparkles in sunlight. Likes some afternoon shade in hot climates. June bloomer here. Good multiplier. Mini 

SILOAM URY WINNIFORD - Round deep cream, large bold purple eye. Heavy substance that takes heat and hard rain. Award winner. Good Multiplier. Mini

SILOAM VIRGINIA HENSON - Creamy melon pink with a very dark ruby red eye zone. Roundish form and a real beauty. Award winner. Mini 

SIR BLACKSTEM - Orange yellow, reverse side of sepals dark brown. Decorative somewhat blackish/purple stems and buds. One of the first to bloom and one of the last to quit here. Very fast multiplier creates masses of bloom in a couple of years. One of Don's favorites. Mini

SOUTH SEAS - Tangerine coral with red coral band above yellow green throat. Fragrant. A most unusual color, like a south seas sunset.

STAND BY ME - A beautiful late blooming daylily. Pink with ruffles. White stripe on petals. This one blooms in August here and is one of the last to bloom.  Very pretty flower

STARLIT FROST - Lightly ruffled pale peach pink blend. Ruffling is a darker orange. Mini

STELLA DE ORO - Many gold/yellow blooms. Blooms all summer. Good in pots or borders. We have used them in patio pots with great success. Planted in our rock garden which gets some shade in the PM. STRAWBERRY ROSE - Pink self. Light pink/white mid ribs and very heavy ruffles on petals. We have this one planted next to the strawberry patch and they are very similar in color.

STRUTTERS BALL - Reddish purple with bright yellow throat. Large gorgeous flower  

SULTANS WARRIOR Red with thin white edges Re-bloomer

SWIRLING WATER - Purple that often exhibits a white splash on petals. Hugh yellow throat and open form make this a real beauty. White watermark. 22 buds and constant re-bloom

TABOO - Salmon red with heavy ribbed texture and ruffles on petals. Very small yellow throat.

TINY PUMPKIN - Pumpkin orange. Great for rock gardens and planters. Evergreen but acts dormant here. June bloomer. Good Multiplier. Mini

TINY TEMPTRESS - Softest pale pink with intense bold triangular eye of deep rose red. Does not open with cool nights but when nights warm up a bit this one really puts on a show. This one is in our rock garden. Mini

TOM WISE - Large red flower. Petals have yellow stripe down the middle. Sepals are a lighter red/yellow color. Large bud count. 24 buds this year.  Re-bloomer

TREE TOP TOM - Henna/brownish red petals with yellow sepals. Striking light yellow mid-rib in petals. Very large flower - 7 inches  Fast multiplier

TUCKASSEE - Purple/red with deep yellow eye zone. This is a 'WOW' flower 

TUSCALOOSA - Beautiful red. A really bright non-fading red flower here. Fragrant.

VANILLA FLUFF - Large cream double flower. Beautiful. Consistent double here. Another of Don's favorites.  

WEDDING BAND - Beautiful cream with yellow edge. Diffused yellow eye. Nice ruffles on petals. Fragrant. This one is an award winner 

WHITE HOUSE LADY - Near white large flower. Almost spider like with floppy petals and sepals. Lime green throat.

WHITE TEMPTATION - Circular, textured near white with a pale green throat.

WILD ONE - Gold Orange Red blend. More gold/orange here but has reddish tones in petals and sepals. Large flower that opens well.

YAZOO JIM KLAMER - Big double apricot bi-tone. Gorgeous fragrant flower Re-bloomer  

YAZOO JIM TERRY - Round flower with a  peach/pink/chocolate blend. Seems to be more on the pink side here. A striking color. Lime to yellow/green throat. 14 buds with extended bloom. Occasional double blooms. Re-bloomer
